Shore Hotel, a AAA Four Diamond beachfront property in Santa Monica, has named Lori Harrison as the director of sales and marketing. In her new position, Harrison will be responsible for creating awareness at the hotel, and will be in charge of generating leisure, corporate and group revenue. Her team will also work on developing new strategies to increase RevPAR at the LEED Gold certified hotel.
Harrison started at the hotel just before it opened in October 2011. Prior to that, she worked for the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows. Her team at Shore Hotel has also gained an addition with the recent hiring of Kristin Haugan as sales manager. Haugan has experience working at both the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows.
