• The Murieta Inn and Spa now open in Northern California

Managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts and The Marcus Corporation, The Murieta Inn and Spa made its public debut. Nestled between the rolling hills of Rancho Murieta and the panoramic Sierra Nevada’s, just 25 miles southeast of downtown Sacramento, the newly structured four-story spa offers a luxury boutique hotel, a relaxing pool area, full-service spa and salon, and 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by classic Spanish Hacienda style architecture designed by Perkins Williams & Cotterill, including an outdoor resort-style pool, terrace patio with a roaring fireplace, picturesque landscape, dining and beverage programs and more. “Opening The Murieta Inn and Spa has turned a dream of mine into a reality,” said Ward. “From the earthy colors of the Southwest to iron pieces inspired by horse stables and equestrian tacks, my vision was to create a space that naturally blends into our equestrian culture and heritage, and celebrates the West’s undaunted frontier spirit.”

Each luxury guest room includes a uniquely designed king or queen bed, with a selection of balcony views, private patios and parlor suites. In addition, all the rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, 50” HD LED TVs, and Sonifi personal screencasting technology with Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and more. If it couldn’t get any better, each room features plush robes, AVEDA bath products, large work desk, full built-in wet bar, microwave, in-room fridge, Keurig Coffee maker, and a CubieBlue alarm clock and phone charging station.

The event space is big enough for groups, gatherings, and celebrations of many sizes up to 250 attendees. With state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated event coordinator, every detail will exceed expectation. The Legacy Ballroom, with 3,000 total square feet of space, can be divided into three separate function rooms.

The San Francisco Marriott Marquis took a head start on its resolution to create a cleaner community when the downtown hotel launched its “Own Our Block” beautification program on December 4, 2017.

The completed $9 million expansion of San Diego Marriott Mission Valley recently opened its doors again an upgraded wedding and events lawn, stunning new fire feature, decorative fencing, a completely new meeting space, a lobby bar, and the first signature M Club Lounge in San Diego. Adaptable from morning until night, the reimagined restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, and a communal space for more social and interaction and business.

 

The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) revealed its new 9,500 square foot rooftop garden in January. Managed by AEG Facilities, the project began in April of 2017 and features various citrus trees, herbs, vegetables, and seasonal flowers above the South Hall lobby.
