PartyWith is a new kind of group experience that’s described as a “walkable photo shoot” and “Instagram feed IRL.” Visitors to the pop-up at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia can interact with 15 different installations or “dream spaces” featuring illuminated disco balls, an infinity rainbow, giant peaches and eggplants, neon, chrome and more.

“We want to give people an experience filled with honesty and attitude,” says co-founder Crystal Lo. “A place where they can bare their souls and be whoever they want to be, because everyone deserves a place where they can escape reality for a little while.” Most people will not find PartyWith quite that life changing, but it is a diverting way to pass an hour if you’re nearby. PartyWith will be up until at least the end of January, likely longer.

Skip the ballroom and take your meeting to sea!

California is one of the most abundant agricultural regions in the world, but a startling number of residents aren’t always sure where their next meal will come from. According to Feeding America, the nation’s largest network of food banks, one in eight Californians struggles with hunger. The situation is especially startling for children; one in five is food insecure.

Hunger is not a supply problem, it’s a logistics challenge. And the meetings and events industry is full of logistics-minded people who are in a position to chip away at it.

There’s gold—and a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed meeting center—in them thar hills.
