• Anaheim Convention Center and Aramark Introduce New Mobile Food Ordering App

The Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) and Aramark, the ACC’s exclusive food and beverage and catering partner, today announced a partnership with Tapin2 on a new in-venue mobile app called ACC-EATS.

ACC-EATS allow convention exhibitors the ease of purchasing food and beverages directly rom their smart phones, with delivery directly to their trade show booths.

Tapin2 built ACC-EATS on an innovative and cutting edge mobile platform to expedite the ordering process for exhibitors who may need to place an order for express catering services or express meal services. The service options of ACC-EATS include catering for guests and executives in their meeting space, or express meal services from the local and fresh fare offered in the ACC’s retail food outlets.

This exhibitor convenience opportunity is unprecedented in the convention center industry and we are excited to bring it to the marketplace.”

ACC-EATS was introduced to exhibitors at the Craft and Hobby Show this past January, and received an enthusiastic response. ACC-EATS was also successfully offered to 1,700 of NAMM’s exhibitors, and again during the UBM Advanced Manufacturing Expo/Conference. 

Within the past two months, Aramark also unveiled its new brand “Locally Rooted,” with fresh, local fare and chic packaging. Healthy and sustainability farmed food remain a popular and requested choice from guests attending conventions and events at the ACC. The launch of ACC-EATS has provided additional visibility for the new “Locally Rooted” farm fresh menu items offered in ACC’s concessions outlets.   

Managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts and The Marcus Corporation, The Murieta Inn and Spa made its public debut. Nestled between the rolling hills of Rancho Murieta and the panoramic Sierra Nevada’s, just 25 miles southeast of downtown Sacramento, the newly structured four-story spa offers a luxury boutique hotel, a relaxing pool area, full-service spa and salon, and 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

 

The completed $9 million expansion of San Diego Marriott Mission Valley recently opened its doors again an upgraded wedding and events lawn, stunning new fire feature, decorative fencing, a completely new meeting space, a lobby bar, and the first signature M Club Lounge in San Diego. Adaptable from morning until night, the reimagined restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, and a communal space for more social and interaction and business.

 

The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) revealed its new 9,500 square foot rooftop garden in January. Managed by AEG Facilities, the project began in April of 2017 and features various citrus trees, herbs, vegetables, and seasonal flowers above the South Hall lobby.
