Located in San Jose, California, Santana Row is the place to meet, play and connect in Silicon Valley. The pedestrian-friendly destination is only 10 minutes to the San Jose Convention Center and San Jose International Airport. The neighborhood is filled with condominiums, shops, restaurants, spas, and a movie theater. And at the core of it all is Hotel Valencia Santana Row—the only hotel in this unique entertainment district and the top hotel in San Jose according to Conde Nast Traveler.

“Hotel Valencia Santana Row is just an elevator ride down to everything that Santana Row has to offer,” says Christine Davidson, Director of Sales & Marketing for Hotel Valencia Santana Row. “It is the premier meeting and events venue in the region with multiple spaces for corporate events, or a venue for larger gatherings. Being in such a walkable location, guests are able to have a robust experience on and off the property.”

The boutique hotel has 215 guest rooms and 17 suites, including a presidential suite. Guests are treated to a landscaped outdoor patio and courtyard. It also has nearly 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including a 2,200-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 250 guests theater-style. The hotel has a conference services staff and on-site audiovisual team from Five Star AudioVisual to assist meeting planners with planning and production.

Planners can also take advantage of the courtyard for larger gatherings. The outdoor venue is framed in Cypress trees and accented by mood-lit water fountains. For a view of the Santa Cruz Mountain range, Hotel Valencia Santana Row offers the intimate Cielo rooftop. The space can accommodate a dinner or casual reception that can be upgraded to include a special selection of wines or a full bar. It is the only rooftop space in Santana Row with a view of the mountains. When not used for private events, guests can retire at the end of the day for a glass of wine and conversation within a stunning backdrop.

VBar is another on-site hot spot for guests to relax after meetings. Located on the third floor, it offers plush furnishings and balcony seating. For VIP parties, reserve a spot at Hotel Valencia Santana Row’s Oveja Negra, which serves its self-proclaimed “unruly tapas.”

When it’s time to explore the neighborhood, guests will be happily overwhelmed with possibilities. For the shoppers in your group, brands like Tommy Bahama, Warby Parker and Kate Spade line the streets. When they’re looking for some pampering or a little “glow up” before a night-time gala or VIP event, salons like Burke Williams, Atelier or W’s Salon can accommodate. And foodies will appreciate the destination’s global flavors, such as Indian cuisine at Amber, French bread and pastries at Cocola, Mediterranean at Meso and traditional Mexican at Zazil. Seasonally, the district also has a summer music series and farmer’s market. And the merchants on Santana Row can provide private tours and discounts for larger groups and conventions.

“Hotel Valencia Santana Row offers a true escape for a meeting or event. Although you are in a vibrant urban setting, you are treated to a boutique, concierge-level service in a more intimate destination,” says Davidson.
