Two Silicon Valley companies have partnered to create in-meeting transcription powered by Eva, an artificial intelligence assistant. The enterprise is a collaboration between BlueJeans Network, a cloud service that connects desktops, mobile devices and room systems in one video meeting, and Voicera, a leader in voice AI for the workplace. Eva participates in meetings by taking notes, providing a recording with a fully searchable transcript and word cloud, and highlighting key moments, all of which can be shared with others.

“This is a game changer for our industry,” says Steve Weinstock, senior manager of business development and integration partnerships at BlueJeans. “We have pushed this platform to adopt technology before the customer asks for it. Meetings are the perfect environment for digital assistants where mundane tasks like note-taking can be automated and the strategic skills are left to the human participants.”
