Summer is in full swing at Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country with a variety of wellness and entertainment meeting options. From yoga to movies, there's something for everyone's interests--whether they be cycling and hiking or lounging by the pool with a good read.

The yoga package was inspired by the well-known passion for wellness among Californians in general and the Sonoma community in particular. Plus, when people are traveling on business and meetings are often back-to-back, a break that involves gentle physical movement and breathing work is great for rejuvenation. so to us, it simply makes sense. Not to mention, they've partnered with YogaONE, and they bring puppies to their sessions.

Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country's room rates begin at $259.99, the movie package is $35 per person with a $2,500 food and beverage minimum and is available for 10 to 100 guests, and the meeting art experience for groups of at least 10 people starts at $100 per person. For fewer than 10 guests, the experience is a flat fee of $1,000. The Wellness for One & All add-on package costs $20 per person for a minimum of 25 guests. “At Hyatt Regency Sonoma, our goal is to evoke the artist within and curate new experiences for our guests. Our goal for the meeting attendees is to leave our hotel rejuvenated with memorable unique experiences. This is done by incorporating fun team-building events such as learning how to paint from an established local artist or selecting flowers from our flower cart to create a bouquet for their table," says Nanci Figueroa, director of sales and marketing. "For those that seek an adventure, we have partnerships with our local vendors, which can provide zip lining or drive a McLaren Sports Car at Sonoma Raceway. When meeting attendees are having fun and learning something new, we find the next day they are energized and engaged in their conference. We successfully bring the Sonoma experience to our meeting attendees.”

"We want meeting planners to know that we are here to support every aspect of the planning and execution of their events. We are flexible and agile and are here to accommodate needs, changes, whatever comes down the pike. We want to help planners take advantage of all aspects of Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country as well as explore this amazing community," she says "In addition to special programming, Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country has a 24-hour gym, outdoor Jacuzzi, cozy firepit with s’mores kits available for purchase, group games, wine tasting and complimentary bike rentals for exploring the miles of paved paths right outside the hotel door and around Santa Rosa, Calif. Each of these amenities may be easily added to an event as a meeting enhancement. The resort’s sales team provides complete support to groups large and small ensuring a seamless and professional experience."

Doctors, nurses, grocery store employees and more were essential to sustaining the continued stay-at-home orders that helped fight the spread of COVID-19. Such workers put their health at risk for the benefit of society, and Nakoma Resort and the Lost Sierra Chamber of Commerce want to recognize them for their efforts through the “Send Your Heroes” campaign.

Due to COVID-19, non-essential travel was, or has been, banned for months. Long anticipated trips and in-person gatherings were canceled and people have adjusted to the new normal: staying at home and meeting over Zoom. However, states have been slowly lifting restrictions, and non-essential travel will soon be happening across the country again. However, some may not be as comfortable with the thought of traveling as they were before the pandemic.

Although several cities are opening up again, many offices are still enforcing work from home policies. As they did when Stay at Home first began, plenty of organizations are still offering webinars with insights on how to tackle the new normal. Gaining new knowledge is a great way to use extra time that might have been spent on a commute.

Here at M+E, we’ll keep the following list updated, as some webinars are live and some are pre-recorded. Please email lauren.pahmeier@tigeroak.com to add more applicable webinars to the list.
